Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Premiumrent.al ("we", "us", "the Platform") operates an online marketplace that connects travelers ("you", "Renter") with independent, verified car rental businesses ("Partners") operating in Albania. We do not own, operate, or maintain the vehicles listed on the Platform - each Partner is solely responsible for the vehicles it lists and the rental service it provides. By browsing, booking through, or otherwise using Premiumrent.al, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must hold a valid driver’s license recognized in Albania to rent a vehicle. Each Partner sets its own minimum age, driving experience, and deposit requirements for the vehicles it lists - these are shown on the vehicle listing or communicated at pickup, and you must meet them to complete your booking.

3. Bookings

When you submit a booking request, you’re sending a reservation request to the Partner for the selected vehicle, dates, and pickup/return locations. We’ll email you a confirmation as soon as you submit it. A booking is only guaranteed once the Partner confirms it; until then it remains pending and the Partner may decline it (for example, if the vehicle is unexpectedly unavailable). If you don’t hear back and pickup is approaching, contact us or the Partner using the details in your confirmation email.

You’re responsible for providing accurate information when booking, including your name, contact details, and any special requests. Inaccurate information may delay or prevent your pickup.

4. Pricing & payment

The price shown at checkout reflects the daily rate, any selected insurance and add-ons, for the dates you chose. Unless the vehicle listing states otherwise, payment for the rental itself is made directly to the Partner, typically in person at pickup - the Platform does not process that payment on the Partner’s behalf. Any deposit requested by the Partner (for example, a security deposit against damage) is also handled directly between you and the Partner, under the terms they communicate to you.

5. Cancellations & changes

To cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact us or the Partner directly using the details in your booking confirmation email. Cancellation terms - including any fee for cancelling close to the pickup date - are set by the Partner and will be communicated at the time of booking or shown on the vehicle listing. If a Partner cancels a confirmed booking, we’ll help you find an alternative where possible.

6. The rental itself

Your rental agreement for the vehicle - including its condition, mileage limits, fuel policy, insurance coverage, and any damage or fines during the rental period - is between you and the Partner, governed by the Partner’s own rental terms provided at pickup. We encourage you to review those terms and inspect the vehicle before driving off.

7. Our role & liability

Premiumrent.al provides the marketplace that connects you with Partners; we are not a party to the rental agreement itself and are not liable for the condition of any vehicle, a Partner’s acts or omissions, or losses arising from your rental. We take reasonable steps to verify the Partners listed on the Platform, but we don’t guarantee the accuracy of every listing or the availability of every vehicle. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to direct damages arising from your use of the Platform itself.

8. Partners

Businesses listing vehicles on the Platform agree to accurately represent their fleet, pricing, and availability, and to honor bookings they confirm. We may suspend or remove a Partner that misrepresents a listing, repeatedly cancels confirmed bookings, or otherwise breaches these Terms.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform - including attempting to circumvent it to transact with a Partner outside the booking flow in a way that undermines its purpose, submitting false booking requests, or interfering with the Platform’s normal operation.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as the Platform’s features change. We’ll update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
